Darlington CC Junior awards Evening 2006

The U 11 and U 13 awards evening was held at Feethams on Sunday 15th October and was as usual very well supported.

The Under 11s were robbed by the weather of the league title, finishing second to Sedgefield despite losing less games!

Cliffe's Adam Baldwin won the batting award aswell as the Player of the Year and Adam Wilkinson was the top bowler for the second year running.

The U 13s had a fantastic season winning the District league cup, The North Yorkshire league and Lowery Cup and the Champions of Champions trophy.

The averages were decided using both teams in both leagues with Jack Vickerman winning the batting, Andrew Peacock the bowling,Aiden Reed was the Most Improved, Ben Simpson was the Ken Stevenson U 12 best club attitude recipient and James Dobson was again awarded the Player of the year.

Mr Vickerman the coach/manager gave an impassioned speech congratulating all his players on their effort and commitment throughout the season.

The Under 15 awards evening was two weeks earlier and saw the players receive league and cup trophies.Steven Lister won the batting award, Liam Dixon was the top bowler and Tom Chapman won player of the year.
